The basis of the kaizen method is the premise that you do not insist on seeking perfection. It doesn’t exist, it’s unattainable, and wishing for it would only lead to the same frustration as the Egyptian bounty hunters when they tried to find proof that the gods cared for them.
The purpose of the kaizen method is to stop the achievement of goals and results in a progressive and continuous way, that is, without interruptions. In its course, the person removes the waste of the production system that interrupts its purpose. This continuous learning process is based on constant professional and personal improvement on a daily basis, to be better every night when we go to bed. This method is not suitable for those people who grew up with American cinema in which 3-minute training sections were shown that led the protagonist to be the champion, it is embedded in what they know that sweat and effort have their reward.
Making time a strategic resource is the first step to improving your performance. And it is that this factor is usually the most scarce in organizations, and also the most wasted. Production processes slow down due to queues, generated as a result of the scarcity of resources.
